The Table
The Table speaks of time spent together with others who are learning to follow Jesus.
It doesn’t matter how many are at that ‘table’, the priority is for all followers of Jesus to be actively involved, gathering together, serving one another and serving others in a meangful way.
Following Jesus is not an individual pursuit. In the New Testament there are 59 ‘One Another’ statements.
This isn’t always easy. Working together can be challenging. Sometimes simply sharing a Table with other people can have its challenges. However, those challenges don’t make the Table any less important. In fact… those challenges are part of the reason the Table is so very important.
God changes us, He shapes us, as we share together at the Table.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
